Welcome to the cyberspace home of the HISTORIC Buckhorn Presbyterian Church in Masonville, Colorado! We hope you find it as warm and inviting as our people.
Our worship is Bible-based, traditional in content, and rich in music and fellowship. While being traditional, our worship services are friendly and informal as we take the time to greet one another, share prayer requests and celebrate special days in the life of members, friends and the congregation. We celebrate the sacrament of Holy Baptism whenever we have the joyful opportunity, and share the Sacrament of Holy Communion once a month, keeping the feast as commanded by our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ until His return.
If you desire a church home where you will be needed and counted upon to be an active and willing carrier of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in your actions, words, and daily living, come join with us! If you need a church home for comfort and security, we can help fulfill this need. If you need a place to be loved and accepted, let us minister Christ's love to you. If you need a church home where others will call you friend, then come and let us be friends and fellow workers for the Kingdom of God in Christ Jesus!
Our Sunday morning worship begins at 10:30 a.m. Adult Education and Children's Sunday School begins at 9:00 a.m.
July 11 is Rev. Dick Webster; July 18 is Rev. Elwyn Tedford. On July 25th at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Freund will lead our annual outdoor service, held at the Warner Homestead. There will be a special "Summer Communion" during this service, followed by our always eagerly anticipated, tasty Potluck Picnic. nnn
Rev. Freund retired after38 years in the ministry, moving to Ft. Collins from California three year ago. He and wife, Karen, have four children and two foster children. They love camping, the out-of-doors, music, skiing and tennis.

Music is an integral part of the worship experience at Buckhorn Presbyterian Church. In addition to their Sunday duties, the choir also performs for special occasions and holidays. Choir practices Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. (See CHOIR) Daphene Nolde is the choir director.
Other musical performances include olde fashioned ragtime piano and a remarkable production of lively tunes from a popcorn popper, slide whistle, bell and many common household items. We also enjoy a delightful children’s bell choir.
